What are your goals in the future?

I see myself as a creative individual with great social skills. In the future, I envision myself working in Human Resources with a company I am passionate about or to be involved with public relations.

How will O’Pake help you reach these goals?

The O’Pake Institute will help me enhance my current skills while having the opportunity to learn from real world experiences.

What is your favorite memory at Alvernia?

My favorite memory at Alvernia University is when the entire campus plays Big Prize Bingo in the spring. The weather is warm and we all sit next to each other laying on towels and rugs. It can get really competitive!

What made you decide to study at Alvernia?

I wanted to leave New Jersey but still stay relatively close. Alvernia is about 2 hours from my home which was perfect. I also had the opportunity to play basketball here which I was grateful for. When I researched the communications program here, I felt confident that Alvernia would be my home for the next 4 years.

Who or what inspires you and why?

My dad inspires me because he is hardworking and extremely selfless. He puts our family first and always gives my sister and I the best advice.

What is a quote that you abide by?

“There may be people who have more talent than you, but there’s no excuse for anyone to work harder than you do” – Derek Jeter

What is something that someone would be surprised to learn about you?

In high school I was in ROTC for 4 years. Our branch was NAVY!
